Red Ribbon Club
The Red Ribbon Club (RRC) is a movement initiated by the Government of India in educational institutions with the objective of spreading awareness about HIV/AIDS and promoting healthy lifestyles among youth. Our college had applied for the registration of the Red Ribbon Club with the Himachal Pradesh State AIDS Control Society (HP SACS). However, HP SACS has informed us that a minimum student strength of 100 is mandatory for registration. Since our college currently has a student strength of less than 100, the registration could not be processed at this stage.
Nevertheless, the college is independently organizing various Red Ribbon Club activities at its own level to create awareness about HIV/AIDS and related health issues among students. These initiatives reflect our commitment to the objectives of the Red Ribbon Club and to promoting social responsibility and health consciousness among our students.
